Thrive KY was founded to support, care, and advocate for individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We believe that all individuals deserve the right to a safe, inclusive environment in which to grow, learn, and acquire the skills necessary to live a fulfilling, independent life.

The program is designed to foster individual strengths and interests, enhance communication and social skills, and to encourage independence. By delivering trusted, quality supports and services; Thrive KY creates an opportunity for personal fulfillment, self-expression, and community involvement. Jason Way
Executive Director
Jason Way, Executive Director of Thrive-KY, is devoted to providing exceptional service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state of Kentucky. With a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University, Jason brings many years of professional experience advocating for this population.

His expertise is grounded in a deep personal commitment to this cause, as Jason is also the father of a son with autism. Under his leadership, Thrive-KY strives to meaningfully improve the lives of those it serves through comprehensive programs and resources.

Before being named Executive Director, Jason held various roles supporting individuals with special needs, allowing him to cultivate a profound understanding of their unique challenges and requirements.

Passionate about effecting positive change, Jason's mission is to uphold the highest standards of care and services at Thrive-KY. When not at work, he enjoys engaging in outdoor pursuits to recharge.
